So, there’s this little lump that’s on my gums... like, below my jawline... I looked at it online, and it means a trip to the dentist (and possibly a root canal).
And... Well... Ever since I watched Marathon Man... Yeah, I’m pretty scared of the dentist.
So here’s a Corvette.

Last year I was brushing my teeth and lost most of my front tooth cap. $3290 dollars later....

I complain that the NHS doesn’t completely cover dental work and that I have to pay some of it but JESUS!

is it causing you any pain/discomfort?
I have a small lump that appears from time to time on my gums and it seems harmless.

NHS covers dental work? Here in Canada the socialized system does not extend to dentistry consequently poor peoples dont go to the dentist.

Standardised cost, if you decide to go private to be seen quicker it’ll cost you.

Not really ... I can feel that it’s there, but there’s no real pain.
Unless I think about it, and then I kind of think there might be pain, but I also might be imagining the pain because I’m thinking about it.

Could be just a sore or the skin itself could be sore/tender. Happens to me here and there, nothing malign about that :) Sometimes they’re stress related, well for me at least. Same as bumps behind your neck and ear, its rather normal actually.

That’s kind of what I’m hoping it is... Like when I get those little bumps on my tongue or something.
Stress related could be a possibility.

Yeah so stressing over it won’t make it better heh. Also they could happen when your diet includes a lot of acidic food, so if you like to eat a lot of salsa or stuff of the sort. I know I do lol
